Who said that SoutheastTexas couldn’t provide a legit Japanese food stand? From the name I guess the place claims to be directly from Osaka?

I really haven’t tried it, but I’m sure it’s like most Japanese or Chinese American spots where they just serve quantity and barely get it right. But it’s closer than nothing.
