Agave

Since, I’ve been attending the local University I have always wondered what the heck this Agave plant is doing growing here. I haven’t asked around to learn the story, but I can point out that its an awkward place to grow one of these. It’s interesting because, normally these don’t grow this far up in the United States and not as big either. Another thing that gets me every time I pass by this agave is that most people don’t know what uses this plant can have. Traditionally you can use every part of this plant to produce things such as: medicine, ropes, syrup, wind instruments, sweet water beverage, pulque ( alcoholic), tequila (alcoholic), and much more. Since, no one thinks to make any use of this plant, do you guys think I should just go right ahead and make us some medicines and stuff??

  • Well i don’t know if you should do anything with that great plant, but apart from that, it all looks similar to the university in Alicante. There also were a lot of cool plants and trees. I liked it.

  • but the urge to make me some rope is too much!!
