Ramune drink

I picked up this cute drink at the Asian Food Mart the other day.  It is a soft drink from Japan named Ramune.  It an interesting drink because of it’s design and how you have to open it.  The drink is sealed with a glass marble at the opening.  To open it, you have to remove the cap  and extract a plastic opener from the cap. Afterwards, you push on the glass marble with the opener until the marble falls into the bottle (make sure you push firmly).  Know, it’s ready to drink and the glass marble makes a clicking sound while you drink.  Such a fun drink.

It tastes kind of like sprite.

  • Dude I love those things! Any place here in Beaumont to buy these or other cool japanese snack like Pocky or Pocari Sweat?

  • Asian Food Market on College Street for Ramune. Nippan Daido on WestHeimer in Houston. Also, there is the Hong Kong Market on Washington that has alot of Pocky stuff.

  • Thanks for the info.
